Time to breath.
MOMENTS OF A WOMAN
Different lives that a woman has and the varied phases she knows during her life.
Using the unconscious movement of action painting to create.
A GOLDEN CIRCLE
Human beings have all time questioned life. Why do we do what we do? Why do we work? Why do we love? What inspires us? Why do we care? What is our purpose? What is our own existence about? Do we have an answer to life? Are we at the right place? What is the philosophy behind it? I invite the observers to question themselves on the limitations that we impose ourselves while living our life. The Golden Circle is an invitation to question your own journey.
VIBRATING LIFE TO UNIFY
Intention to create a "magical place” to reconnect people with one another and in one place. The artwork was created with the projection of light through the glass artwork. It immerses you in a dream place that shows that everything is linked and has a beautiful purpose in life.
MORE BEAUTY IN THE BROKEN
The Kintsugi collection emphasizes on the beauty of what is broken: when something is damaged, it makes it more beautiful because it means you have been through a hard experience in life that created a scar, a mark. This japonese philosophy, where broken objects are often repaired with gold, explains that the flaw is seen as a unique piece of the object’s history, which adds to its beauty. Something broken is more beautiful.
DRESS THE HUMAN SOUL
In today's world, we think that what our place in the society is who we are, while our inner self is the most important. It is our soul and our heart that represent us. I like to explore this participatory art to show the inner beauty of people and to focus on the beauty of each being, it highlights the fact that we are all the same, a body and a story to tell, all as human beings. This particular photography is focusing on the beauty of a woman and her strong abilities to face her own body limitations.
SHATTERING THE GLASS
Shattering the glass completes the expression of life’s emotion: glass vibrates such as life. Each tiny piece of glass, that broke from a previous glass artwork, represents different experiences in life: back together it creates one luminous piece of art, reflecting a beautiful bright life when adding up all experiences we get in life.
It highlights the beauty of nature and its fragility. Plants need the sunlight to grow and blossom. The black UV light used in this installation highlights the colours of the plants and create a blossoming effect to show the real beauty of nature. The blue dark line that goes down along the plants represents the human impact with the oil and it contrasts with the purity of the white and the colourful plants. Hidden golden glitters in the white paint are a metaphor to the “gold rush”, nowadays the oil and gas industry, very present in our society.
It is also inspired by the magic shining flower rainbow: life itself.
I can hear music while painting.
Each "mash-up" is like a song created by blending two or more layers of paint. The process of overlaying one layer of paint seamlessly over another layer of paint creates depth into the artwork that relates to life. The paint dances such as music notes and gives the rythm of the composition.
Life is created by layering and adding experiences, it composes a beautiful dancing life.
"The road seems captivating to me when I do not know where it leads me." - Alexandra David-Néel, travel-writer.
There is a secret to travelling the world: it unleashes the creativity and nurishes inspiration.
I AM NATURE
Everything is linked and has a purpose in life. Nature makes connect us with our true selves, without it, we do not exist. People are seeking real connections and real places where to reconnect with their true self.
It is possible to stand behind the glass and be part of the painting itself and be immersed into nature.
WOMAN OF EDEN
As the ancestor of all humans on Earth, the first woman of the Garden of Eden is a symbol of humanity. Eve represents the belief that the creation of human beings is in essence a single family. Everything comes from the "original sin". The invitation of eating the apple conjures destructive concepts as the world today.
This is where art meets love. Time passes but love stays forever, it builds our life. It makes it powerful. Making art is like making love, very intense and an intimate moment, such as two lovers meeting.
A SUBLIME EXPRESSION OF THE WORLD
Painting looking through the glass to express the world I see, such as through a lens of a camera or looking out by a window.
“There might be millions of roses in the whole world but you are my only one, unique rose.”
In our society, life is so busy that we do not take time to stop to really live, to contemplate beauty or to enjoy simple things in life. “Breath” invites people to stop and be conscious of the moment while they are breathing. Being conscious of every seconds makes us understand that life is precious. We all need to remember such as opening our eyes each morning. Let’s be thankful of being alive and breathing.
Inspired by travels and stunned by the beauty of the windows of the Gaudi's Sagrada Familia cathedral in Barcelona.
Light is life: it gives life to everything and enlighten your inner self.
Colours are powerful: while spreading around, they make us feel good.
Understanding that life is ephemeral forces us to want to create eternal life or duplicate it by all means, rather with reproduction, with some form of virtual life or with History repeating itself. This is a testimonial of infinite possibilities to create and recreate the beauty of life again and again. The "Duplicate" collection is a metaphorical explanation of layers that compose life.
A LOVE-HATE RELATIONSHIP
Life in Paris.
The french way of life, the beautiful fashion, elegance and Love. Cliché.
The fear of not being french, the judgmental way of clothing, rejection and Hate. Reality.
Life is not linear. It is a non apparent line that separates good and bad, ups and downs, such as the horizon which separates earth from sky. The resulting intersection of this duality creates a metaphoric visible horizon that provides peace.
ART DECO IN A LIFE
Art Deco influenced my life in France or while visiting other countries in the world whom architecture of buildings or the design of jewelry were "Deco". This was part of everyday life before the first world war and it remains a proof of History through time.
UNBUILDING THE PAST
Man does not exist with no past History or Heritage. Our world today does not preserve the past. "Deconstruction" highlights History repeating itself: building, destroying, re-building, re-destroying Humans or Heritage with no memory of History or Past.
