The light lines painting is a public art experience impacting a community by inviting people to get together around one universal language: ART.
"Creating with others involves magic and beauty." - Aurelia Bizouard
How to connect people with themselves, with others and with art? We believe this can happen by providing an immersive experience in a specific place with a specific theme, by enabling people to create a work of art themselves.
The first step is to create the painting on a glass panel through which light will be projected. This is done by painting on the back side of the glass panel and then creating drawings by removing the paint. The designs on the glass are created by Aurelia Bizouard around one major theme.
The second step is to engage people in the creative process by having them paint on a canvas or a wall from the projection of the glass artwork (a light placed behind the glass art will be projected). People will paint the lines of light and fill-out the canvas with colours.
At the end of the process, the art resulting from this collective exercise will reflect the creativity, unity and energy of the people involved.
